Molecular Electron Microscopy Core

The microscope rooms in the MEMC were designed to minimize vibration, acoustic interference, stray magnetic fields, and fluctuations in temperature and humidity (maintained at <30%). Located on the first floor of the Frost Building, the MEMC will house state-of-the art Thermo Fisher electron microscopes for "Imaging from atoms to cells.

  • Advanced Design Principles:
    • The microscope rooms at the Molecular Electron Microscopy Center (MEMC) are meticulously designed to minimize vibration, acoustic interference, stray magnetic fields, and fluctuations in temperature and humidity (maintained at <30%).
  • Optimal Location:
    • Situated on the first floor of the Frost Building, the MEMC is strategically placed to house state-of-the-art Thermo Fisher electron microscopes, facilitating precision imaging from atoms to cells.
