Vision

My vision for the Frost Institute would be to recruit an elite and diverse group of outstanding scientists, aspiring to replicate the model of the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, U.K. Scientists would be recruited who are not only exceedingly creative and productive but also interactive and egalitarian,  thereby contributing to a collegial and synergistic environment. Scientists would have access to state-of-the-art infrastructure in all aspects of integrative chemistry, biophysics and structural biology. In addition, development of novel technologies would be encouraged, in the context of enabling experiments that yield deep insight into biological problems that would have substantial impact on human health.

Future Vision

The Frost Institute for Chemistry and Molecular Science will have academic stature on par with
The Rockefeller University, the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
